When searching for roles, I noticed Hales Recruitment provided a well-written, clear and concise job description. There’s not many recruiters that provide a full job description. This left me with the impression that they knew the company concerned much more intimately than other recruiters with similar positions available. 

Describe the Hales’ process of working with you…
Once I’d shown an interest in the role, recruiter, Helen Pitcher called me for an initial phone interview to assess my suitability for the position. Helen was courteous, friendly and clearly knew the company well enough to gauge whether I would fit into the organisations culture. I found this reassuring. Helen left me with her out-of-hours contact details, and helped me through every step of the process, advising where she could.

What solution did Hales provide?
Hales provided me with what is missing from so many other recruiters – an acknowledgement that I was a person and not just a number! Hales were personable throughout the whole process and offered me opportunitites with businesses I had never even heard of, underlining their wide range of expertise.

How would you describe the overall service Hales provided you?
Excellent. Helen still stays in touch to find out how I am getting on and to visit all the other members of Ice Watch staff she has been responsible for recruiting. It is clear that Hales have a strategy of long-term relationships with their candidates and customers alike.

Have there been any stand-out moments during your working relationship?
Helen and her team were always looking out for my interests, something that is underlined by the fact that we are still in touch – I would say this is very unusual in the recruitment sector at the moment.
